Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: 2 November 2026
This policy applies to all traffic sent through the Nexra API. Violations may result in suspension without refund.
Prohibited
- Activity that violates applicable law, including fraud, money laundering and sanctions.
- Generating or distributing malware, phishing content, or material that sexually exploits minors.
- Unsolicited bulk messaging, spam, or deceptive impersonation of people and organisations.
- Unauthorised access to systems, credential theft, or evasion of security controls.
- Attempts to extract training data, bypass provider safety systems, or use the Service to build a directly competing credential-resale operation.
- High-volume automated abuse: scraping that disregards robots directives, denial-of-service traffic, or load that degrades the Service for others.
- Processing regulated data (e.g. health records, payment card data) without the safeguards your jurisdiction requires.
Your responsibilities
- Keep API keys secret and rotate them if exposed.
- Set budgets and rate limits appropriate to your workload.
- Disclose to your own users that outputs are machine-generated and may be inaccurate.
- Comply with the terms of the model providers whose outputs you consume.
Enforcement
We review reports of abuse and may throttle, suspend or terminate keys while investigating. Where appropriate we will contact the account owner first. Serious violations may be reported to the relevant authorities.
